In Memorium: Joseph (Joey) Palazzolo

“It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of our dear friend, colleague and CIBS Past President, Joseph (Joey) Palazzolo on September 3rd, 2022.
There are very few people that have had such a profound impact on the CIBS organization as Joey Palazzolo did over the years. Joey dedicated 40 + years to the continued success of the Cosmetic Industry Buyers and Suppliers organization serving in a variety of roles including President in 1989 all in addition to running a successful fragrance business. He has been a friend, mentor, industry Icon and trusted advisor to many board members, Directors and Past Presidents over the years and served as the official CIBS historian until as recently as 2019.
Joey’s passion, dedication, presence and support lead to many in our industry referring to him as “Mr. CIBS”.
Our continued thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
Visitation will take place Wed. and Thurs., Sept. 7th, and 8th, at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY, from 2-4:30 PM and 7-9:30 PM.
Funeral Mass Fri., at St. Gregory The Great Church in Bellerose. Interment St. John’s Cemetery”
